Class KA went yesterday to the Museum of Natural History's interactive children's area, the Discovery Room, and had a great time playing paleontologists for a day! In one station, the kids saw how fossils are created over a very long time. In another, they used tools to dig up fossils, and, in yet another, they learned about the scientific process of observation. The kids even were able to see the very large spiders that are part of the special exhibit, Spiders; ALIVE, at AMNH through May 6th for the Spider-man NYC celebration! (Thanks, Louis!)
