92nd Street Y Recanati-Kaplan Merit Scholarships

For Young Artists, Dancers and Musicians

The 92nd Street Y School of the Arts will grant a limited number of Recanati-Kaplan Arts Scholarships in June for studies beginning in fall 2007. Based on merit rather than financial need, these awards provide a rare opportunity for exceptionally talented 5-17 year olds to study with the renowned faculty of the 92nd Street Y School of the Arts. Set up an audition or portfolio review today.

Recanati-Kaplan Arts Scholarships provide full, yearlong scholarships based on artistic merit for children and teens to study art, dance and music at the 92nd Street Y School of the Arts. Cash prizes are awarded at the end of each year.

With an outstanding children's faculty of professional artists, dancers and musicians, and more than 200 courses annually in visual arts, dance and music—as well as private instruction in piano, voice and all orchestral instruments for children and teens—the School of the Arts provides an ideal laboratory for learning in the arts. Small class sizes allow instructors to provide individualized, age-appropriate instruction at all stages of artistic development.
