Cinco de Mayo Celebrations!!


Cinco de Mayo Celebration
Sample pan dolce and other Mexican cuisine, watch short animated films on Mexican culture and enjoy mariachi music at Mamalu.
When: Sat., 5/5, 11am & 4pm; $5/child.

Cinco de Mayo Ballet Hispanico Celebration: FREE
Drop by Ballet Hispanico’s spacious studios to glimpse the array of classes offered for all ages, ranging from Spanish dance to ballet and contemporary. A Mexican Dance workshop for kids ages 3-10 runs from 2:30pm to 3pm. From 3pm to 3:30pm, watch the School’s professional dance ensembles perform. Salsa lessons at 3:30pm prepare everyone for a Latin Dance party to show off new moves.

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta: FREE!
Take pictures with Maya & Miguel, make maracas and attend a healthy, Latin-flavored cooking demo with chef Elsie Ramos at the Scholastic Store in Soho.
