PA treasurer Isadora Bolton (who has books on the brain while planning our first Scholastic Book Fair!), points out that April 15-21 is National Library Week, a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries, librarians and library workers and to promote library use and support. In other words, it's a great time to check out the many FREE events for children offered by New York Public Library's various branches, including craft and technology workshops, story hours, films, and special performances. Also see the Library's On Lion for Kids website, containing lots of cool links, like to these fun, FREE bookplates.
