Marbles and Other Muses

Courtney Sale Ross, Chair of the Ross Global Academy Board of Trustees, joined the Metropolitan Museum of Art trustees at the first in a string of opening events for the Met's New Greek and Roman Galleries, involving the installation of thousands of works of classical art from the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The new galleries opened to the public on April 20. Spring tours for school groups were booked up in January, but if anyone has any contacts at the museum that would allow our kids the very special opportunity to visit the new galleries—which the Met's director calls "a museum within a museum" and the "biggest event of the art season"—please get in touch with the Parents Association!!!
