Swedish-born author/illustrator Laura Ljungkvist today visited the Lower School. She read from her book, "Follow the Line Through the House," which comes out next month, as well as her first book, "Toni's Topsy-Turvy Telephone Day." She showed her original paintings, sketches, and layouts for the books. She said that as a child she liked to draw more than anything and now gets to do it all day long, and make her living at it — an intriguing thought for many of the kids. (A HUGE thanks to Laura!)
