The Governor and Legislature of New York State approved an unprecedented increase in education aid this year to address decades-long funding inequities in school districts including NYC. A portion of this funding, called the Contracts for Excellence, will be spent on specific programs for improving educational opportunities for our city's high-needs students. Click the flyers above, in English and Spanish, about upcoming public hearings for parents and community members to provide comment on the Citywide and Community School District Contracts for Excellence. The hearings will be held July 9-12th from 6-8pm in each of the five boroughs.
