Mr. Damweber's first graders are headed to the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum tomorrow, June 12th for its special Tour + Workshop = DESIGN program. The program invites students to "think like designers" as they discuss key objects from the current exhibition, Design Life Now: National Design Triennial 2006. The group will receive a 40-minute guided tour, followed by a 45-minute hands-on workshop in the Museum’s Design Studio. Special bonuses will include seeing the WowWee Robosapien pictured above and work by Stina's dad, creative director of Trollbäck + Company, one of the design companies selected for the Triennial.
