A little history on the event:
Less than 2 weeks after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Manhattan Youth organized a fundraiser to help victims and efforts in the Gulf region. Over $25,000 was raised and given to worthy groups.

Manhattan Youth is continuing to support one of these groups, the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP). The BTNEP works to preserve and restore wetlands and their barrier islands and implement education and awareness programs that enhance public involvement.
