Please join us for the Championship Basketball Game tomorrow!!!! Our RGA team is UNDEFEATED, and the Championship game is tomorrow at 5pm. The address is 35 East 125th st. You can take the 4,5,6 to get there. Please come to the game to show your support for our fantastic Basketball team and watch our equally fabulous Step team in action! Below is a note from the coach, Mr. Leizman, about the team and their season so far:The RGA fifth and sixth grade basketball team has had a great inaugural season. The team is currently 6-0, having won its semi-final play-off game against Leadership Village, 27-13. We now face rival Hyde Leadership on Saturday, March 10 for the Manhattan Charter School Sixth Grade Basketball Championship.
The Team has featured a stingy, aggressive team defense and fast break offense. Captains Shaquel Jones and Jared Thompson have done a great job at the point and power forward positions. Cy Howard continues to play unselfishly with precision passing, rebounding, shot-blocking and scoring. Elloys De La Rosa uses his unparalleled quickness to pressure
the ball, while continuing to improve on offense. Elijah Bunche, DJ Guy, Kenner Del Orbe, and Trever Wan have all made major contributions to the team, and continue to improve. New addition, Camera Miley, recently joined the team and played well in her first game.
It is an exciting team to watch. They play hard and fair, and represent RGA with distinction!
