Nathan Damweber reports from 1B: "Today we began using Apple iMovie software to create our own poetic video anthology. Children will be video-taping themselves reading their poetry for our collection. The technology allows children to personalize their portion of the movie soundtrack. Please discuss this with your children and send in the name and artist of the song that they would like to have playing in the background of their segment. I will download the music to place in the soundtrack. Our goal is to create a DVD to send home with each student. We will be spending 15 to 20 minutes a day on this project, and it should be completed by the end of the month.
